MISSION

To create an avenue for youth to excel through one on one investment in their personal development.

VISION

Our vision is to provide direction to athletes with direction using football as a platform to achieve their greatest potential as individuals.

WHO WE ARE

We are Next Level Greats, South Jersey’s premier quarterback, receiver, and defensive back training program. We are a registered 501(c)(3) charitable organization. We provide training and opportunities to young men in our region to learn football, gain exposure, and help them in their goal of obtaining a college education.

The Next Level Greats Football Club is an organization focused on the holistic approach to developing youth athletes. Our club experience offers a wellness experience for each individual participating in the program. Our services include programs for healthy eating, concussion awareness, strength and training, behavioral health issues and drug and alcohol awareness. We pride ourselves in outreach to underserved populations including urban and rural areas with socioeconomic challenges. The Next Level Club embraces diversity and serves a cross section of ethnic groups.

SCHOLARSHIP FACTS

Presently, there are 125 FBS (Division 1A) schools such as: Rutgers, LSU, Miami, Penn State, Alabama University, in the country, as well as many Division 1AA, Division 2 and Division 3 schools. Each Division 1A school awards 85 “full-ride” football scholarships per team. Each year, there are about 21 scholarships for each incoming class. Put another way, there are roughly 2,520 scholarships awarded EVERY year to play Division 1 football. Consider this small number against roughly 254,000 high school seniors who play football every year. This means a current high school senior has less than a 1.2% chance of obtaining a Division 1 Scholarship. The 1.2% who do get scholarships get the exposure they need to be recognized by college coaches and scouting services.

OUR GOAL

The fact is young men that receive proper training, and quality exposure, are more likely to receive a scholarship. We use our 7-on-7 Teams to promote EACH player in our organization. We have a database of over 350 colleges we email game film, stats, and academic information to on a continuous basis during the spring and summer. We WILL make sure that college coaches know about all of our players. Not every player will be a Division 1 recruit, but they will all also have exposure to Division 1AA, Division 2, and Division 3 schools to help every player find the right opportunity for each of them. Our goal at Next Level Greats is to help the young men we coach and train to be a scholarship recipient. You can read about us, individually, in the attached material. However, this is not about “us”. It’s about the young men we train each week.

HISTORY

The NLG Club was established in 2012 under the leadership of Marcus Hammond. The foundation of the club was to create an avenue for athletes at every performance level to move to the next level. The club is in the infancy stage however have performed at a high level. In our first year, NLG has hosted two high level camps.

In July 2013, NLG had its inaugural camp, Next Level Passing Camp, at Total Turf Experience in Pitman, NJ. There were roughly 30 participants.
This camp was an instructional camp focused skill development for break out athletes. The camp was overwhelmingly successful based on satisfaction surveys given to participants, parents, coaches and media.

The second camp was held in January 2014, The Beast of the East featured top college prospects in a showcase event. One hundred and sixty players participated in the camp, including twenty one players that hold Division 1 scholarship offers. Numerous media outlets covered the athlete’s performances, including Rivals.com and Scout.com. A live stream of the camp was sent and viewed by over 200 colleges.
